This week was the last formal week of SUSP!
The workshop for this week was about publication and sharing our research formally. We learned how to determine what makes a publication or journal desirable to submit your project to. Something that was important to note is if they do peer review, have publication costs and/or is open source.
The highlight of the week was the SUSP Presentations....
On Thursday and Friday all of us students shared our work. It was a delight to see all the different projects that ranged from Theatre, Ag Science, to Engineering. I was the only psychology student, and it was a different experience compared to other presentations I have been a part of that are typically all psychology students.
The power point I used for the presentation and some photos from the day (including me and my family) are bellow.
Research Progress
I presented my research at the SUSP Presentations.
Made Finished the poster for the WySis SPARK Symposium.
Finished my PowerPoint and refined my presentation.
Struggles
This week went rather quickly and was positive overall. I was able to share my research and I got to see my amazing friends and colleagues do the same.
One struggle was practicing my presentation and working through the anxiety of my speech.
